The Bible is from God
“All scripture is God breathed ... " (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)
“And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as the word of God ... " (1 Thessalonians 2:13)
The Bible speaks about itself as God’s full and final revelation of His will to mankind. This is God’s method of safe-guarding the truth against “modern-day prophets” who claim that God has made a special revelation to him or her that goes beyond the teachings of the Bible.
