Finding a Church
It used to be easy to find a church home. You simply looked for a church with the same name as the one you had been attending and knew that the beliefs, services, and programs would at least be similar.
Today, the world of "church shopping" has changed drastically. Now even having the same name doesn't mean the beliefs or services or programs will be familiar. In some ways, this is good because it allows a person seeking a church home to evaluate based on his/her Bible beliefs without the baggage of a church name. In other ways, this is not good because we have lost the familiarity of churches with the same names being similar.
